Jim has spent the last 31 years as a Firefighter Paramedic. During that time he has used photography as a means to get away from the realities of his job and explore his creative side. He started taking portraits and doing miscellaneous shoots for magazines and other publications but felt unfulfilled. During that time he began to feel that he was more interested in wildlife and landscape photography and has since geared his work toward those two areas.

Julie and Jim married in 2004. Jim's desire to travel with his photography has taken them to many exotic and exciting places. Julie quickly became a budding photographer and has taught herself many new and interesting ways to view the world through the eye of the camera. She has a unique perspective that comes through in her work.
